We're an online, family-run shop — no storefront rent baked into your phone's price. Every phone is configured in-house to your community's standard and shipped ready to use, so you're paying for the phone and the work, not the overhead. If you find the same configured phone cheaper somewhere else, tell us — we'd rather match it than lose you.
Two things: the phone itself (a button flip costs less than a touchscreen) and the filter level (Talk-Only is the base; Talk & Text and app packages like Waze, Weather and Zmanim add a little). Not sure which level you need? Take the 30-second quiz or read about filtered WhatsApp.
A regular flip phone is mass-produced with its browser and app store left in. A kosher phone is a small-run device that is either built without them (Megalife, Wonder, Fig) or professionally sealed and configured by hand, then supported afterward. That work is the price difference. Entry level is still modest — the TCL Flip 2 starts at $110 — while touchscreen kosher phones run $330–$460.
